Welcome - Thank you for visiting Joe's Scrapyard

Joe's was started in 1962 by Joe. Our Dad bought Joe's on the 1st March 1974 when it was still in 1st Street. In August 1981 we bought a property in 14 4th Avenue, Geduld. We started building the new premises on the 18th January 1982 and completed it on the 14th September 1982. In 1995 we started to make number plates, which we still do today. In 1996 we bought the block of flats next to our property which we demolished and turned into a used cars sales stand and a parking lot so we have ample parking available. We have been here ever since.

Our Dad retired in 1996 and since then Gary and Errol have been running the business. We are the oldest scrapyard in springs and have been successfully running for over 44 years.
